Appearance
After standing, the upper layer is clear with a small amount of sediment below; it becomes a uniform suspension after shaking.
Indications
- For the prevention of avian Pasteurella multocida infection (fowl cholera).
- Duration of immunity: 6 months in chickens and 9 months in ducks.
Dosage and Administration
- Administer subcutaneously in the neck.
- Chickens or ducks over 2 months of age: 1.0 mL per bird.
Adverse Reactions
Generally, no adverse reactions occur.
Precautions
- 1. Do not freeze. Never use vaccine that has been frozen.
- 2. Allow the vaccine to reach room temperature and shake thoroughly before use.
- 3. Disinfect the vaccination site.
- 4. Dispose of used vaccine vials, equipment, and unused vaccine safely.
