Indications
For the prevention of infectious laryngotracheitis in chickens over 35 days of age. The duration of immunity is 6 months.
Dosage and Administration
Administer by eye drop. Reconstitute with normal saline according to the number of doses stated on the label and give 1 drop (0.03 mL) per bird. Layers: primary vaccination at 35 days of age and one booster before the onset of lay.
Adverse Reactions
Generally, no adverse reactions occur.
Precautions
- 1. Keep the reconstituted vaccine in a cool place protected from light and use within 3 hours.
- 2. When vaccinating chickens under 35 days of age, first conduct a small-flock trial and expand use only after confirming that no severe reaction occurs. The immune response in chickens under 35 days of age is relatively weak; administer a second dose after 21 days.
- 3. Maintain good house hygiene and disinfection before and after vaccination to reduce airborne bacterial levels and minimize eye infections.
- 4. This vaccine is restricted to affected areas. It is not recommended for flocks with severe respiratory disease, such as infectious coryza or Mycoplasma infection.
- 5. Properly dispose of used vaccine vials, equipment, and unused vaccine.
