Functions and Uses
It is used to prevent Newcastle disease in chickens. It is specially used for chickens that have been vaccinated with the Newcastle disease low virulence live vaccine. The immunization period is 1 year.
Usage and Dosage
Dilute the dose indicated by the bottle, dilute with sterile saline or other suitable diluent, and intramuscularly inject 1 ml into the skin.
Adverse Reactions
Purebred chickens respond strongly, and laying hens may reduce or produce soft shell eggs within 2 weeks after inoculation.
Precautions
- 1. It is intended for use by chickens of more than one month old who have been vaccinated with the low virulence vaccine of Newcastle disease, and should not be used for newborn chicks.
- 2. Laying hens are best vaccinated before or during the laying period.
- 3. When using this vaccine in the farms where chickens and chicks are used, attention should be paid to disinfection and isolation to avoid the death of chicks caused by the spread of vaccine.
- 4. After the vaccine is diluted with water, it should be placed in a cool dark place and must be used within 4 hours.
- 5. Used vaccine bottles, utensils, and unused vaccines should be treated harmlessly.
