Character
It is light yellow loose mass, easy to break away from the bottle wall, and quickly dissolve after adding diluent.
Functions and Uses
Vaccination by nasal route or drinking water.
This vaccine is applicable to more than 21 days old chicks.
Usage and Dosage
Use normal saline, water for injection or clean cool boiled water to dilute the vaccine, according to the dosage in the label attached to the bottle. By nasal route, 1 drop(0.03ml) per chick. By drinking water, a double dosages should be needed. The amount of drinking water depends on the age of the chickens. For 5-10 days old chicks.5-10.0ml can be used. For 20-30 days old chicks, 10-20.0ml can be used. For adult, 20-30ml can be used.
Adverse Reactions
Generally, no visible adverse reactions occur
Precautions
- 1. Place the reconstituted vaccine in a cold dark place and use it up within 4 hours.
- 2. Do not use metal containers when vaccinating through drinking water route, and deprive the chickens of water for 2~4 hours before vaccination.
- 3. Treat the used vaccine vials, equipment and unused vaccines harmlessly.
