Generic name of product
Reassortant Avian Influenza Virus (H5 Subtype) Bivalent Vaccine, Inactivated
Main Ingredients And Content
The vaccine contains inactivated recombinant Avian Influenza viruses, comprising the H5N8 subtype strain R2346 and the H5N1 subtype strain R232V. The content of both antigens before inactivation was ≥ 1×108.5EID50/0.1 ml.
Character
Milky white emulsion.
Function And Purpose
Used for preventing Avian Influenza in chickens caused by Avian Influenza viruses of two clades: H5 subtype 2.3.4.4b and 2.3.4.4h
Usage And Dosage
Subcutaneous or intramuscular injection. For chickens at 2-5 weeks of age, 0.3mL/dose, and the duration of immunity is 4 months. For chickens older than 5 weeks of age, 0.5mL/dose, and the duration of immunity is 4 months.
- Administer via subcutaneous injection in the neck or intramuscular injection.
- For chickens aged 21 days and under: 0.3ml/dose, with a duration of immunity of 4 months;
- For chickens over 21 days of age: 0.5ml/dose, with a duration of immunity of 6 months.
Adverse Reactions
Generally, no visible adverse reactions occur.
Precautions
- 1. For vaccinating healthy chickens only.
- 2. Inspect before use. Do not use if discoloration, emulsion breaking, leakage, foreign matter contamination, or other abnormalities occur.
- 3. Before use, allow the vaccine to return to room temperature and shake thoroughly.
- 4. Once the vaccine is opened, it must be used up on the same day.
- 5. Do not freeze or expose the vaccine to high temperatures during transportation or use.
- 6. Injection equipment must be disinfected before use, and the injection site should be disinfected by swabbing with 5% iodine tincture.
- 7. Used vaccine vials, equipment, and unused vaccine shall be disposed of in a harmless manner.
- 8. Use is prohibited within 28 days before slaughter.

1. Dual-Strain Broad Protection
Bivalent design targeting H5N8 (2.3.4.6 clade, R2346) and H5N1 (2.3.2.1v clade, R232V)—covers ≥90% of circulating H5 variants ,cross-protecting heterologous subclades.
2. Fast, Long-Lasting Immunity
- The vaccine contains inactivated recombinant Avian Influenza viruses, comprising the H5N8 subtype strain R2346 and the H5N1 subtype strain R232V. The content of both antigens before inactivation was ≥ 1×108.5EID50/0.1 ml.
- Durable protection: Immunity lasts ≥6 months in breeders/layers; maternal antibodies protect chicks for 3–4 weeks post-hatch.
- Field-proven RPS: 95–100% protection in chickens, 90–95% in ducks .
3. Exceptional Safety & Compatibility
- Non-pathogenic: Fully attenuated (ICPI=0, MDT>140h); no reversion to virulence risk.
- Low reactogenicity: <5% of birds show mild, transient local swelling/fever—no impact on growth or egg production.
- Co-administrable: Works with NDV/IBV vaccines (no immune interference).
- Residue-free: Compliant with EU/FDA food safety rules.
4. Advanced Manufacturing & Stability
- Cell culture (Vero cell) production: Scalable , no egg-borne contaminants.
- Novel adjuvant: Boosts both humoral (IgY) and cellular immunity for stronger protection.
- Due to significant variations in the prevalent H5 avian influenza strains across different regions, we can adjust the H5 avian influenza antigen combinations according to customer requirements to achieve optimal disease prevention effects.
