Function and Purpose
For prevention of: Newcastle disease (sub-genotype VII), Avian Influenza (H9N2 and H5 clades 2.3.4.4h and 2.3.4.4b). Onset of immunity: 14 days post-vaccination. Duration of immunity: Chickens: 6 months;Ducks and geese: 4 months (requires booster 3 weeks after primary vaccination)
Usage and Dosage
Intramuscular injection into breast or subcutaneous injection into neck region. For chicks at 2-5 weeks of age, 0.3mL/dose; For chickens older than 5 weeks of age, 0.5mL/dose. For ducks and geese at 2-5 weeks of age, 0.5mL/dose; For ducks and geese older than 5 weeks of age, 1.0mL/dose.
Adverse Reactions
Generally, there are no obvious adverse reactions.
Precautions
- 1. The product is forbidden to use for poultry infected by avian influenza virus or for those in abnormal health conditions.
- 2. Do not freeze.
- 3. Vaccines with abnormal conditions, such as broken packing, foreign bodies, demulsification or stratification should not be used.
- 4. Allow the bottle to ambient temperature and shake well before use.
- 5. Sterile instruments should be used during vaccination. Needles should be changed in time, preferably a new needle for each chicken.
- 6. After opening, the vaccine should be used on the same day only.
- 7. The vaccine is forbidden to use within 28 days before slaughter.
- 8. Hazardless processing should be conducted for used vaccine bottles, instruments and remaining vaccines.
